The Savory team just got back from our 2020 planning session (more on that below), but that doesn't mean we're taking our eyes off 2019.

With the media covering regenerative agriculture almost daily, Al Gore coming out in favor of regenerative solutions (and practicing Holistic Planned Grazing at his farm), and the Australian government recognizing Land to Market as a winning innovation in agriculture, it's been quite the exciting month.

Read on to learn about October's Fall Harvest in and around the Savory Network.

A MONTHLY TOPIC IN GREATER DETAIL
2020 Planning Session
Last week, the Savory staff convened in Florida at the home of Allan Savory and Jody Butterfield for our 2020 strategic planning session. In addition to Savory staff, Hub leaders from Argentina, Australia, California, and South Africa joined the session - representing the diversity of contexts that exist within the Savory Global Network and bringing new ideas to the forefront.

As with all Savory planning sessions, we started by reviewing the organization's Holistic Context to remind us why we exist and what we hope to accomplish.

Looking back on 2019, we have had many successes: the 3rd edition of the Holistic Management Handbook being released, new Frontier Founder brands joining Land to Market (with more to be announced soon), special projects underway in Mongolia and Senegal, Hubs in new regions of the world, the EOV data platform rolling out of beta, a communal-specific Hub training in Kenya, hundreds of new Regenerating Members... and the list goes on.

Moving into 2020, we'll continue to focus on growing (and strengthening) the Global Network and Land to Market. What will that look like exactly? Stay tuned...
