I'm sure your inbox is flooded with Black Friday and Cyber Monday emails, so we'll keep this short.

The year is winding down, but we're incredibly grateful for what 2019 has brought - a stronger Savory Global Network, a larger support base of Regenerating Members, and you, our dear reader, paying attention to the issues that truly matter in this world.

Here's your November recap of what's been happening in the world of Holistic Management.

DIGGING IN
A MONTHLY TOPIC IN GREATER DETAIL
Creating Impact this Holiday Season
Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday, a reminder to pause during the holiday hustle and instead take a moment to give back. At Savory, we will be celebrating #GivingTuesday by launching our end-of-year donation drive, with a goal to raise $35k now through the end of December.

Savory Institute, as you're likely aware, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We generate enough revenue through our programs to fully cover administrative and fundraising costs (read more in our annual reports), but the other half of our annual budget comes from donations -- direct support from people like you who value the work we're doing to regenerate the world's grasslands and want to see more of it.

While some non-profits operate through large staffs with equally massive budgets, at Savory we intentionally remain small and agile. Instead of field offices, we accredit locally-owned and locally-operated Hubs who themselves train Holistic Management in a localized context. And when developing new programs, we ensure that resources are deployed to benefit the entire Network, not just a select region.

The result? For every $30 donated to Savory Institute, the Network is able to influence 100 acres of land. We're incredibly grateful for our donors, and we're equally proud of the efficiency at which we utilize these donations.
